Help Dat Foundation brings the community together through fundraising events, sponsorships, donations, cooking, golf, and acts of service.
100% of the money raised through Help Dat Foundation events is given back to our selected golf tournament recipient and Hogs for the Cause, allowing every sponsor, donor, golfer, and supporter to make a direct impact.
Hogs for the Cause is one of Help Dat Foundation’s biggest annual fundraisers. Through food, cooking, team fundraising, and community support, Help Dat Foundation raises money to support families facing unexpected medical expenses and difficult medical circumstances.
Help Dat Foundation’s team, Gettin’ Piggy With It, participates in Hogs for the Cause and has donated over $20,000 each year it has participated since 2019, with the exception of the year Hogs was canceled due to COVID.
The Piggy Classic Golf Tournament is one of Help Dat Foundation’s signature fundraising events. Each year, golfers, sponsors, volunteers, donors, and community members come together to raise money for families facing unexpected medical expenses.
The Fifth Annual “Piggy Classic” Golf Tournament will take place Friday, October 30, 2026, at Riverlands Country Club in Laplace.
Hogs for the Cause
Help Dat Foundation has donated over $20,000 each year it has participated in Hogs for the Cause since 2019, with the exception of the COVID-canceled year.
2022 Piggy Classic Golf Tournament
The first golf tournament was held in 2022, and Help Dat Foundation donated $10,000 to the family of Carson Landry.
2023 Piggy Classic Golf Tournament
In 2023, Help Dat Foundation donated $15,000 to the family of Jonathan Perret.
2024 Piggy Classic Golf Tournament
In 2024, the tournament raised over $30,000 and donated $21,300 to the family of Amelia Hindman.
