Supporting Ellisyn Mae Owen
This year, Help Dat Foundation will be sharing proceeds with Ellisyn Mae Owen.
Ellisyn is the daughter of Amanda Sullivan Owen, a native of Destrehan, and John Owen, from Laplace. The family now lives in St. Amant, Louisiana, where they are raising their three daughters: Blythe, Ellisyn, and Delaney.
On June 23, 2026, Ellisyn was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at just three years old. Since then, she has faced hospital stays, treatments, procedures, and challenges with courage, strength, and a joyful spirit.
Ellisyn loves princesses, Minnie Mouse, the color pink, and all things sparkly and girly. Help Dat Foundation is honored to support Ellisyn and her family through this year’s Piggy Classic Golf Tournament.
